Standardisering er et viktig steg p\u00e5 veien mot netto null. Standarden ISO 19880-1:2020 er sv\u00e6rt spesifikk n\u00e5r det gjelder krav til jording og utjevningsforbindelse, ogs\u00e5 for hydrogendistribusjonssystemer som lastebiler eller tilhengere. En av de vanligste \u00e5rsakene til antennelse er en gnist som skyldes en plutselig utladning av oppsamlet statisk elektrisitet. <br\/><br\/>N\u00e5r to ulike materialer beveger seg mot hverandre, kan elektroner utveksles, slik at det blir et overskudd av positiv ladning p\u00e5 det ene materialet og en tilsvarende negativ ladning p\u00e5 det andre. Dette er dannelsen av statisk elektrisitet. Under overf\u00f8ring eller prosessering av et materiale kan betydelige mengder statisk ladning akkumuleres sv\u00e6rt raskt, noe som f\u00f8rer til en rask \u00f8kning i spenning p\u00e5 objektet (f.eks. en tankbil).  <br\/><br\/>Spenninger kan raskt overstige gjennomslagsspenningen i den omkringliggende atmosf\u00e6ren og skape risiko for en plutselig utladning til en n\u00e6rliggende leder i form av en gnist.<br\/><br\/>Mengden energi som frigj\u00f8res ved denne plutselige utladningen, kan lett overstige minimum tennenergi (MIE) i den potensielt brennbare atmosf\u00e6ren og dermed
