In Malmö’s expansive Hyllie district, an innovative and climate-smart mobility hub has been constructed. The building houses 400 parking spaces and offers areas for parking mopeds, bicycles, and cargo bikes. With a focus on electricity production and energy storage, the project has ambitious sustainability goals and strives to be a model for the parking garages of the future.
Our delivery
Malux has contributed to the project’s functionality and safety by delivering lighting and signage solutions. To create a safe and well-lit environment in the long staircase, our LaneLED Inox handrail was installed, providing a durable and energy-efficient lighting solution.
In addition to this, we delivered our high-performance Ontec S Cold AT emergency exit signs, which can withstand temperatures from -15 to +40 °C, ensuring reliability and clear orientation in all weather conditions.
A place for more than just parking
The mobility hub is not just a parking facility but a multifunctional node for the city’s residents. A public gym has been created on the roof, further contributing to the building’s role as a modern and sustainable urban landmark.
