Radio equipment upgrade
We have had the pleasure of carrying out a service assignment for Infranord AB, where we were responsible for upgrading the radio equipment in eight rail-mounted lift vehicles located across the country—from Malmö in the south to Vännäs in the north.
The vehicles in question were previously equipped with older types of Funkwerk MESA23 cab radios. Our assignment included both service and a technical upgrade of these units, to ensure that the vehicles meet today’s requirements for approved rail traffic.
As a result, Infranord’s rail-mounted lift vehicles are now fully approved for continued use in the railway environment, with modernised communications that increase both operational reliability and efficiency.

Cab Radio MESA23

Train antenna, low profile
Low-profile GSM-R train antenna. This antenna fits directly onto the so-called Kathrein mount, making it easy to install.
The intended application is, of course, GSM-R, but it also supports GSM/2G/3G/4G and WiFi.
