Safety

Underwater lighting that effectively illuminates the bottom of the swimming pool increases safety. Unfortunately, serious incidents have occurred in pools where the lighting has been inadequate or non-existent. Effective and properly designed underwater lighting significantly increases the ability to locate people on the pool floor. The fixtures must be equipped with tempered safety glass on the front and a manhole cover made of acid-resistant stainless steel on the back. This means that if the glass should break for any reason, the pool will not be drained of water, as the sealed manhole cover prevents water from escaping through the fixture.

Comfort

With good underwater lighting, other lighting in the swimming hall can be dimmed. The pool/adventure pool feels brighter and significantly more inviting.
In fitness and competition pools, we generally recommend continuous installation
with our 4.2000 or 4.1900 luminaires, as the aim there is to achieve the most efficient and best possible lighting, especially in pools with a deep section.
In adventure/experience pools or rehabilitation pools, we currently work primarily with
cast-in luminaires from the pool side. Light sources today mainly consist of white LED light or RGB. With RGB-W luminaires, you can change the look of your pool environment from one moment to the next.
Why not invite guests to theme evenings with a swim in the Red Sea, diving in the Blue Lagoon, or floating freely along the Yellow River. Well-designed RGB-W lighting is undoubtedly an attraction in itself and contributes to increased comfort and a better experience for your customers.

Energy efficiency

Underwater lighting for both fitness/competition pools and experience pools has been carefully developed to offer the best possible lighting with the lowest possible energy consumption. The reflectors and lenses in the fixtures are designed to spread light along the pool floor and utilize the pool’s reflections. Looking solely at the fixture’s power during planning gives an incorrect assessment. Many existing swimming halls today are equipped with halogen fixtures ranging from 300 to 1000 W. Fixtures with both lower energy consumption and higher light output are replacing many of these units.
