Exercise and Competition Pools

Where through-mount installation is possible, our luminaire, series 4.2000 with 170W LED, is advantageously used.

NOTE! Installation depth of luminaires in fitness and competition pools: approx. 600–1,000 mm below the water surface. Can be installed deeper if there is a deep end.
Rehabilitation pools
Where through-mount installation is possible, our series 4.1900 with 62W LED is advantageously used. If the pool has a height-adjustable bottom, luminaires with a flush front ring are available that align flush with the tiles.

If there is no service tunnel, use our luminaire series 4.0292 LED, either with white diodes or RGB.
Examples of luminaire series are:
4.1900
4.0292 LED
4.0291.75 LED (for flush mounting)

If luminaires are mounted on both sides, a more evenly illuminated pool is achieved. NOTE! The calculations for fitness, competition and rehabilitation pools have been carried out in a pool environment with light-coloured tiled surfaces. If a stainless-steel liner is selected, the light output is reduced by approx. 30–40%.
Adventure Pools, Adventure Sections
- A: If possible, the luminaires should preferably be placed on the inner wall, as the
people within the current channel tend to keep to the outer wall. - B: If it is not possible to place them in the inner circle, the luminaires can be mounted in the outer circle.
- – Preferably, luminaires with flush mounting, or with the thinnest possible front ring, should be used. Suggested options are 4.0291.75 or 4.0199 LED/RGB or white diodes.
- – Mounting height approx. 60 cm c/c below the water surface.
Examples of luminaire series include:
4.0199

– For parts of leisure pools intended for “free” swimming, luminaire placement varies greatly depending on the pool’s design.
– Please note that you should try to position the luminaires to achieve as even an illuminance as possible, taking beam angles and reflections into account. The luminaires do not need to be evenly spaced; the light distribution is more important.
– Suitable luminaire choices are the 4.0292 series for longer distances (up to 12 m) and 4.0199 for shorter distances (3–8 m).
– Either choose white diodes for functional/practical lighting, or
choose RGB to enhance your customers’ experience and create an attraction with the underwater lighting.
Examples of luminaire series are:
4.0292
4.0199
- – In hot tubs, the aim is to create attractive lighting both when there are
people in the pool and to create appealing lighting that draws people
to the pool. Therefore, bottom mounting should be combined with mounting in
the backrest. - – Luminaires with flush mounting, or with the thinnest possible front ring, should
be used. - – It is recommended to use only LED RGB luminaires, where luminaires A and B are
divided into different groups. This is to achieve an attractive combination where
the luminaires in the backrest change in the same way, while the bottom-mounted
luminaire B changes to a different colour.
