The Ex-protected electrical air heater structures are ventilation duct-mounted, mounted into the pipeline as well as wall-mounted heaters.
The heaters contain a heating resistor unit and possibly also a fan. The heaters are used in explosive atmospheres in e.g. oil refining, petrochemical and other chemical industry, the paint industry and many other demanding sites. Wall-mounted models are excellent for heating Ex atmospheres. Also available as industrial versions without Ex rating.
